Sealed bids for Headquarters Building 1st Floor Renovations 4100 Touro Street
will be received by the Housing Authority of New Orleans (HANO) in the Office
of procurement and Contracts until
Deliver
three (3) complete sets (one
original clearly marked or stamped “original”, and two (2) copies) of the
required submittals, in a sealed
envelope or box clearly marked with the words “Bid Documents”, to the Department of Procurement and Contracts at
the following address:

bidder must place on the outside of the envelope in the upper, left-hand corner
the following when submitting their bid:

All prime bidders wishing to obtain a copy of the bid
documents must place a deposit of $150.00
for each set of documents. The
deposit shall be in the form of a check,
made payable to The Housing Authority of New Orleans. Deposits on the first set of documents
furnished to bona fide prime bidders will be fully refunded upon return of the
documents in good condition within ten (10) days after bid opening. Deposits on all other sets of documents will
be refunded at 50% upon return of documents as stated above. All prime bidders must present their current
Contractor’s License Number prior to receipt of documents.
Bidders
that request the bid documents be sent by parcel post mail shall include a
separate, non-refundable check
in the amount of $50.00 for
postage and handling. Bidders that
request the bid documents be sent by overnight carrier shall provide Bidder’s
courier’s account number, Bidder’s address, and bidder shall pay all associated
costs and fees. Bidders are reminded
that overnight packages cannot be delivered to post office boxes.
Each
bid shall be accompanied by a bid guarantee equal to 5% of the total amount of
the bid submitted.
A
pre-bid conference, followed by a site visit, will be held at the Housing
Authority of New Orleans,
All
bids submitted are subject to these Instructions and Supplemental Instructions
to Bidders, General Conditions, Specifications, and all other requirements
contained herein, all of which are made a part of this Invitation for Bid by
reference.
The
Housing Authority of New Orleans reserves the right to reject any or all bids
for just cause and to waive any informalities in the
bidding if it is in the public interest to do so.
